Off to London, and you plan on watching Chelsea? We may be able to assist with ‘home’ match tickets only. Using a Supporters Club is one of the easiest ways to buy a ticket to watch Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
If you are travelling over to see a match this season you will need to buy a Chelsea (London) membership. You will NEED to buy this membership before September 30th, and tell us your details, else we cannot add you to our list. Your minimum purchase must be the “CFC Blue” tier membership.
A local, Melbourne Chelsea, membership can be bought between July and December every year and is not essential to get our help with tickets, however you would avoid admin fees in future seasons if you bought a Melbourne membership and renewed it each year. If you are new to asking our help then an admin fee will apply, per person. Admin fees will also apply to existing local Melbourne members if your membership is under 3 seasons.

It is ONE match ticket per membership.
If you are traveling with family, friends or partner, then ALL of you will need a membership. You will all need to prove your support for Chelsea FC as with ticket demand high for our matches, and limited numbers for Supporters Clubs around the world, we are not here to provide a ticket for a ‘mate’ who follows some other team and you’re planning to take in lots of matches with other teams. That’s for a ticket agency and NOT us please.
Once you have your Chelsea membership you will need to forward the confirmation email from Chelsea FC to our email address, admin@chelseafcinmelbourne.com Then we can add you to our list. Please ensure that your 8-digit membership number (Supporter ID number) is also included in the email and also the ‘exact spelling’ of your name as you put on their form. Incorrect names will not be accepted by Chelsea.
Each match has an order period, and you will need to email us to tell us what match you hope to attend. The ticket ordering periods for matches are usually around 50 days ahead of a fixture, exceptions for the very start of the season and for cup matches. This order period is before Chelsea start selling to members globally (outside of a Supporters Club) You will order and pay Chelsea FC directly for the tickets via a link provided by us once you have paid your admin fee (if applicable).
Why use a supporters club?
We are always hearing about plenty of disturbing stories that tell of people paying excessive amounts for a match ticket, via ticket agencies in London and also via ‘touts’ (scalpers) near the ground. Using an Official Supporters Club is a way to avoid large mark ups by 3rd party ticket agents. You pay the members price that is listed on the Chelsea website, and our Melbourne Club save you the trouble of buying a ticket yourself. You avoid the hassle of going online as a member, when there is a very good chance that the match will sell out before you get an opportunity to buy. We get to place an order at least a week ahead of the sale to members outside of a Supporters Club. Also the Virtual Waiting Room (VWR) is an absolute nightmare, from reading comments on social media from members trying to buy online. You could be waiting in there and then discover that the tickets are sold out. Chelsea FC currently use digital tickets for all home matches and the majority of away matches too.

This assistance is not available from us after 30th September.
That is the cut-off date dictated by Chelsea FC ticket office for adding members to our Melbourne list. $90 is a small price to pay compared to the horror prices we hear about from 3rd parties.
If you haven’t already booked your travel, you should consider what dates you are there. In the second half of the season the FA Cup will impact fixtures and also the League Cup matches from August (should we go far in those competitions) Home draws in the League Cup could also be opportunities for tickets. Check the EFL website for match dates.

We hope you’re not a supporter for just ‘one season’ because you are travelling to London, and you’re simply ticking off an item from your ‘bucket list’.
We aren’t keen on people treating OUR club as a ticket agent, which sadly over 100 people have done over our years of operation.
The ONLY reason we can help Chelsea fans from our part of the world is if there are another 29 other supporters willing to buy the London based membership. We need at least 30 members. If they don’t, then we can’t help. It’s as simple as that. Ultimately, we want people to keep helping other supporters. Our ticket system doesn’t work without that.
That said on the rare occasions that the Chelsea Ticket Office asks us to have an order of preference then we will determine who goes where on the list by the following criteria.
- The length of Chelsea FC (True Blue) membership
- The length of Chelsea FC and Melbourne Chelsea Membership
- The length of Melbourne Chelsea membership
- The date of when your Chelsea FC membership was bought for the season that the match is in.
If a particular fixture happens to be popular among travelling supporters (i.e. Xmas) then we will be submitting a preferred list. If a list is 8 people or above, then we start to get nervous about the number of tickets that will be allocated by the Ticket Office.
Finally, if you secure tickets via our club, you are expected to purchase the London membership for the following season too. This helps us reach our required number of 30.
